Thank you so much for signing up. I look forward to whatever you write for me - I'm sure it will be amazing!

I have written a lot here but don't feel you need to use any of my suggestions - I like to read a lot of different things and am sure I'll enjoy it.

Things I like:

General - close friendships (tight-knit groups of friends), teasing with love, bros and bromance, unreliable narrators, spooky/eerie elements, mysteries

Romance - humor, sexual tension, falling in love, pining (as long as it is resolved by the end), partner dynamics, established relationships (I love a good get-together and a nice established fic equally!), lots of physical affection.

Age difference - I've prompted several age difference pairings and, while this isn't a deal breaker for me, if your muse takes you that way, I would love a darker story. I'm good with mentoring or hero worship but I would be thrilled with a story that has anything from a certain amount of badwrong all the way through to outright coercion.

As far as ratings go, I prefer smut to be included. If it is a romance fic I'd like there to be at least some kissing by the end! I'd be ok with a PWP but if it's a choice between a lower rating with plot and only sex I'll take the plot every time.

Sex - cuddling, terms of endearment, being noisy, male partners switching roles, fingering, rimming, oral sex in general. Kink is good too if you're that way inclined!

Settings - I like AUs a lot but don't feel like you have to write one! I love canon fic as well. Some of my favorite AU settings: magical realism, fantasy (of any variety but especially werewolves), folklore, power imbalance (A/B/O, d/s etc). If the story is dark, that is ok! I like things that are mysterious, spooky, or potentially dangerous.

DNWs:
- (non-canonical) character death, permanent injury or serious illness,
- infidelity (open relationships/poly are fine)
- bullying, cruel jokes, non-consensual humiliation
- non-canon setting AUs (ie. modern-day/non-hockey players etc)
- unhappy endings

Now for some request specific things! None of these are intended to be strict prompts, just rough ideas of things I'd like to see.

2018 Year In Review

I've seen a couple of other people doing this so I'm going to give it a go.

I wrote just under 109k words this year, most of it fanfic, and published 89998 words of it in 28 chapters over 8 unique works in 3 different fandoms to AO3.

I participated in 4 Bangs/Exchanges (Chocolate Box, ALLCAPS, Hockey Big Bang and Hockey Holidays*)
*I'm not counting this into my work totals or word counts

I made a mistake in signing up for ALLCAPS and the Hockey Big Bang at the same time (or at least misjudged the lengths of what I chose to write) as I ended up spending three months basically writing when I wasn't working, eating or sleeping and it was pretty stressful but I was happy with both of the final pieces.

I love the idea of the Hockey Big Bang (and I got an awesome playlist for my story) but, if I ever do it again, I think I need to work on that story exclusively.

I would say I need to be better at judging the scope of the story in advance but, tbh, I should have learnt by now to estimating my story length and then double it because I always end up writing more than I had expected.

Exchanges are great for stopping me procrastinating though and I'm definitely going to try and sign-up for more next year.

Looking ahead to 2019, I have about 20k of fic partially written, including the epilogue of the DA:I story I have been writing since 2016.
