Prompts, where offered, are only one idea - please don't feel bound by them if you have a different idea you're enthusiastic about!

General Likes:
- power imbalance (whether institutionally, by experience, or by strength of supernatural powers where applicable, including AU type settings such as omegaverse or BDSM-verse)

Dallas Stars
*John Klingberg/Esa Lindell
I love the way Klinger and Esa chirp each other but are so supportive. I love to read stories which include their national rivalry in a friendly way.
- Pre-Klinger leaving in free agency, canon divergence where the Stars re-sign him, or playing on different NHL teams for the first time are all good
- Becoming friends and then lovers as rookies
- Esa comforting Klinger through injury / recovery
- Klinger as the honorary Finn at the Liiga Alumni game over the summer in 2019
- John giving Esa some of the appreciation he richly deserves.
- Speaking the other one's language
- I could totally see those two as fae in a supernatural AU - is magic known in the NHL or are they keeping secrets?
- Anything involving Scandinavian/Nordic mythology is great

*Roope Hintz/Joe Pavelski/Jason Robertson
- They have such chemistry on the ice, I'd love to read more about their chemistry off it
- I love age difference fics where both (all) people are into the age gap and the same with power imbalance looking at their difference levels of experience
- Inspired by the interview where Bowness said - "Joe's been great with (Robo) ... Pavs is a true pro and he's out there every day working at his game and pushing those guys. When I have a problem with Robo I go to Pavs and say we've got to push them a little more. They've got a lot of respect for Pavs. He's got a good voice and he's a great influence on the whole team."
- I love Roope and his individual style (though I am sad about his haircut)

*Joe Pavelski/Wyatt Johnston
- Wyatt is living with the Pavelskis and isn't being sent back to Juniors!
- Somehow Wyatt is the first rookie Pavs has ever hosted
- They had a couples costume for the Halloween (Wyatt was a golfer and the Pavelski's were his caddies
- I love age difference fics where both (all) people are into the age gap and the same with power imbalance looking at their difference levels of experience
- (I have no preferences regarding the presence or absence of Joe's actual wife in fic so long as, if she exists in it, she's cool with whatever's going on between Joe and his rookie)
- I have half an idea about an omegaverse fic where Pavs is an omega and Wyatt is an alpha: I'm not sure where this would go but I'd love to see your take on it



Player/Coach
*Cole Caufield/Martin St. Louis
- I love age gap/power imbalance where both parties are aware and into the difference
- Cole seems like a very sunshine-happy guy
- Cole's scored so many more goals under St.Louis so clearly something about his coaching 'technique' is working
- Sharing stories of being short guys in the NHL

*Kyle Dubas/William Nylander
I like the difference balances of power in this relationship. Willy is clearly younger and Kyle's his GM but then again Willy is the one earning more and pretty much grew up in the NHL
- I love age gap/power imbalance where both parties are aware and into the difference
- Could be DILF hunter Willy adding his GM to his list of conquests
- Or exploring their relationship dynamics
- Alternatively, something more complicated exploring the fallout from a serious relationship being revealed. Or perhaps another coach or GM/player relationship is made public and Kyle and Willy discuss the implications for them



Older Player/Younger Player
*John Gibson/Trevor Zegras
- I still can't get over Gibby blindfolding Zegras for the All-Star competition
- Zegras just looks like he needs to be wrecked and I'm sure Gibby would be great at it
- I love the goalie nesting trope
- Maybe combined with winner's room where Zegras comes back from being the forfeit and Gibby is tipped into nesting because he can't have *his* guy smelling like the other team



Besties
*Andre Burakovsky/Philipp Grubauer
- Burky has followed Grubi to yet another team which is clearly the most romantic thing that could happen
- But fic at any point of their intersection on the Caps, Avs, Kraken, or while on different teams, is all good for me
- Maybe Grubi has been resisting nesting with the Kraken but now his favourite forward is here, things are different
- Or maybe Grubi gets to help Burky through his introduction to the Kraken (tentacles are fun)

*Igor Shesterkin/Ilya Sorokin
They should be enemies, repeatedly playing for rival teams (SKA/CSKA in KHL now Metro division rivals) but they're not - (interview here: https://en.khl.ru/news/2020/01/20/464864.html)
- Did I mention I can never get enough of goalie nesting 🥰
- Anything inspired by Russian mythology would be amazing
